Rock star movement. An international movement of self-expression and empowerment that aims to improve the health, lives and minds of youth. Improve concentration, coordination, posture, sequencing, following instructions, coping with the senses, and breath control. This program addresses social-emotional well-being through a fun fusion of movement, music and free play activities. Facilitated by an Occupational Therapist at Northside Indoor Sport & Fitness on Saturday mornings in North Lakes. Held in a group setting, to foster relationships. MOVE, ROCK, PLAY and MAKE NOISE!
The use of lightly weighted exercise drumsticks offer a unique way to explore movement.
Generation Pound: Children aged 6-12 years
One hour includes drumming workout activities and half an hour offers and opportunity for young people to have a drink and a snack and practice 'trading information' (conversation skills). Shorter sessions can be negotiated for those with developing attention spans.

*Private hourly individual rate is $195. NDIS hourly individual rate is $193.99. Cost for the group Program of Support will average about $170 per hour including a complete customer experience tailored to your young persons' needs (break down of fee schedule to be provided upon enquiry).
